Sterling Davenport has been in Gainesville since 2007. He has extensive experience in political campaigns on the local and state level.
A past Vice President of the Stonewall Democrats of Alachua County, Sterling has also been a Director with the Florida LGBTQ+ Democratic Caucus, is past chair of the Gainesville Citizens Diversity Advisory Committee, and served on the Gainesville Human Rights Board.
In his spare time he is a dedicated volunteer at the Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery and enjoys hiking, kayaking, and being outside in the beautiful natural areas of Gainesville.
